Terms of Service

Last updated 10 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Andrey Gavrilenko ("we", "us"), who provides Ruta, for your use of Ruta at app.ruta.so and in our apps. By using Ruta you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

What Ruta is

Ruta is a reflective space. You bring a question, and an AI asks, listens and reflects it back; from your journeys it builds a picture of you, and from texts you add it can build readings of the people in them.

Ruta is an AI. What it writes can be wrong, incomplete or unsuited to you, and its readings of you and of others are interpretations, not facts.

Ruta is not therapy, and it is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. It is not for emergencies: if you are in crisis or in danger, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.

Who can use Ruta

You must be 16 or older. You are responsible for your sign-in and for what is done with your account; tell us at support@ruta.so if you think somebody else has used it.

Your content

What you write, upload or record stays yours. You allow us to store and process it — including through the AI provider named in our Privacy Policy — only to provide Ruta to you and to the people you choose to share with. We don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't sell it.

Texts about other people

When you add a text about somebody, you confirm that you have the right to use it this way. A reading of another person is an interpretation built from that text. Don't present it as fact, and don't use Ruta to harm, harass or deceive anyone.

Sharing

You decide what to share and with whom, and you can stop sharing at any time. People you stop sharing with lose access to it.

Using Ruta fairly

Don't use Ruta to:

You can report content that breaks these terms to support@ruta.so. We may remove such content, and suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Free use and Ruta Pro

You can use Ruta for free within the allowances the app shows. Ruta Pro raises them, for a monthly or yearly price shown before you buy. There is no free trial.

Pro renews automatically until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.

Allowances are for personal use. A subscriber who goes far beyond ordinary use may be slowed down rather than refused. We may change prices or allowances for future periods, and we will tell you before a change applies to you.

Ending

You can stop using Ruta and ask us to delete your account at any time — in the app where it offers this, or by writing to support@ruta.so. After 30 days, in which you can change your mind, your data is erased as our Privacy Policy describes. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Apple; cancel that in your Apple Account settings.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or where the law requires it. Where we can, we will tell you why first.

We may change or stop parts of Ruta. If we stop Ruta altogether, we will tell you in advance and refund any Pro time you paid us for on the web and have not used.

Liability

We provide Ruta with care, but as it is and as available: we can't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on what Ruta writes. Nothing in these terms limits a liability the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away your rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you before the change takes effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using Ruta and delete your account.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts.
